Node9 is an open-culture, digital publishing provider. Currently, Node9 is a hosting service for Manifold, where Apparatus Press has pilot publications in Open Access.
Node9 allows Manifold to act as a collaborative, open-source platform for humanities publishing, with moving image support, reading groups and community dialogue. With annotation tools it allows for iterative texts and an open peer-review process.
