Peter Brod
Peter Brod was born in Prague on November 25th, 1951, and, together with his parents, he moved to Bavaria in 1969. After graduating from secondary school in Munich, he studied political science, East and Southeast European history and journalism at the University of Munich where he gained his M.A. in 1977. He also studied at the London School of Economics and Political Science and at Harvard University (Cambridge, MA, USA).
Between 1980 and 1987 he held various positions with BBC radio and television in London. Later he worked for Radio Free Europe until 1993, first serving in various posts in Munich and in 1990 – 1992 as the station´s first permanent correspondent and bureau chief in Prague.
In 1993, Brod joined the staff of the Süddeutsche Zeitung in Munich and left the paper in 1996. After a two-year stint as a freelance journalist in Munich, he returned to the daily as its Prague correspondent.
In 2000, Brod rejoined the BBC and was in charge of its Prague bureau. Since 2006, he has been freelancing in Prague. His activities have included presenting the programme Historical Magazine on Czech public TV´s news and current affairs station CT24. He regularly chairs debates on contemporary and historical topics at the Jewish Museum´s Department of Education and Culture.
Brod is a member of the boards of the Czech-German Future Fund and of the Foundation of the Prague Jewish Community.
Rosie Moore
I have been working as an inclusive educator for 30 years and, for the last 13 years, as a university academic, specialising in international and teacher education with a focus on antiracism, special education and refugees. I am committed to a relational pedagogy placing positive relationships at the heart of my practice. I highly value collaborative learning through dialogue and critical reflection, encouraging and facilitating creative learning approaches and research informed teaching.
Although my expertise is principally as a teacher, my research is focused on inclusion in Higher Education. My collaborative approach has resulted in me forming strong partnerships with specialist and mainstream educators locally, nationally and internationally.
I now work freelance and am interested in working with others to support their writing, editing and ideas. I am also particularly interested in being part of collaborations which might harness my interests in inclusive education, neurodiversity and climate change education.

Monika Halbinger
Gerne möchte ich beim neuen Projekt Campus DiGZ mitwirken, da es mir ein Anliegen ist, mich für einen gleichberechtigten und barrierefreien Zugang zu seriösen Informationsquellen für alle einzusetzen. Diesen Zugang erachte ich für den Weiterbestand freier und offener Gesellschaften für unabdingbar.
Als freiberufliche Lektorin und Historikerin kann ich deutschsprachige Lektorate sowie Korrektorate, aber auch inhaltliche Recherche in den Geisteswissenschaften anbieten. Gerade in der geplanten Veröffentlichung deutscher Dissertationen sehe ich eine Möglichkeit der Unterstützung. Mir macht es viel Freude, mich mit Texten und Inhalten kritisch und konstruktiv auseinanderzusetzen.
Meine Zertifikation als Lektorin habe ich durch die Akademie der Deutschen Medien erhalten. Der Schwerpunkt meiner Tätigkeit liegt auf Sach- und Fachbüchern sowie biografischen Texten.
Die Affinität zur Sprache hat mich stets auf meinem beruflichen und akademischen Weg begleitet. Nach meiner Ausbildung zur Sortimentsbuchhändlerin habe ich Soziologie, Jüdische Geschichte und Sozialpsychologie studiert und am Lehrstuhl für Jüdische Geschichte und Kultur in München promoviert. Schon während meines Studiums habe ich als studentische Hilfskraft Sammelbände redigiert und ein Volontariat im Verlag C. H. Beck absolviert. Während meiner Zeit als Büroleiterin eines gemeinnützigen Kulturvereins war ich auch in der Textredaktion tätig. Neben meiner Tätigkeit als Lektorin arbeite ich zurzeit an einer Biographie des letzten mährischen Landesrabbiners, Baruch Placzek, generell liegt momentan mein Forschungsschwerpunkt auf der jüdisch-tschechischen Geschichte.
Meine Expertise in der jüdischen Geschichte nutze ich im Lektorat: Ich bearbeite nicht nur wissenschaftliche Texte dieses Inhalts, sondern biete auch Sensitivity Reading im Bereich „jüdische Lebenswelten“ an. Dabei prüfe ich Texte auf missverständliche, Stereotype reproduzierende Darstellungen und Ausdrucksweisen. Es ist wichtig, nicht nur jüdische Lebenswelten, sondern ebenso die Kulturgeschichte des Antisemitismus zu kennen, um antijüdische Schilderungen und Klischees nicht in Texten abzubilden.
Ein weiteres Feld meiner Tätigkeit ist die Recherche zu geisteswissenschaftlichen Themen. Hier kann ich diesbezügliche Erfahrungen in Archiven und Museen vorweisen.

Ralf Pasch
Jahrgang 1967, lebt in Berlin. Der Journalist und Buchautor arbeitete bisher für Zeitungen, Zeitschriften und den Hörfunk. Für die Berliner Firma Rohnstock Biografien ist er als Autobiografiker, Ghostwriter von Lebensgeschichten, zuständig. Daneben konzipiert er Ausstellungen – etwa über die Prager/Wiener jüdische Familie Schalek. Ein Schwerpunkt seiner Arbeit sind deutsch-tschechische Themen, so erschien in zweiter Auflage 2022 sein Buch Die Erben der Vertreibung – Sudetendeutsche und Tschechen heute. Aktuell arbeitet er an einer Biografie der in Prag geborenen und in Wien sehr erfolgreichen Malerin Malva Schalek (1872-1944) sowie an einem Jugendbuch über die deutsch-tschechisch-polnische Sagengestalt Rübezahl.
Ivan Kozlenko
Ivan Kozlenko, a writer, film scholar, curator, and cultural innovator, founded the Mute Nights silent film festival in Odesa and He founded the esteemed Mute Nights silent film festival and transformed the Dovzhenko Center, Ukraine’s primary film archive, into a leading cultural attraction in Kyiv. Over a decade, he oversaw the restoration of over 70 Ukrainian films and their reintroduction to global audiences.
Ivan curated significant film retrospectives, including Ukrainische Träume (Arsenal – Institut für Film und Videokunst, Germany, 2023), Kira Muratova (Seoul Cinematheque, South Korea, 2019), Odessa in fiamme: occupation / liberation (Odesa, 2015), Ukraine: The Great Experiment (Pordenone Silent Film Festival, Italy, 2013).
He edited authoritative texts and catalogs on Ukrainian cinema, published by Dovzhenko Center Publishing: Flights in Dreams and Reality (2020), Ivan Kavaleridze. Memoirs, Drama, Journalism (2017), Ukrainian Film Posters of the 1920s: VUFKU (2015), Dovzhenko’s EARTH Framed by Borys Kosarev (2013), Ukrainian Re-vision. The Film Collection Book (2012).
His 2017 novel Tangier was a contender for the BBC Ukrainian Book of the Year, reflecting his influential role in Ukrainian cultural discourse.
